Ellie attended her first Vacation Bible School this year at Epiphany. They had an amazing program with over 300 children in attendance each day. Epiphany is one of the few churches who actually offers 2 year old classes. The first day was a little rough and she asked to come home with me before the day even got started, but after she discovered all of the fun she would be missing it was up hill from there! The second morning she was ready with her backpack and shoes on telling Mommy and Ethan to, "Pweese hurry, I want to go to church!"

That is so sweet. Allyssa thinks she went to VBS for the first time ever this year. I wasn't planning on helping at all, but David asked me to help him on Monday. Then I thought it would just be Monday, but it became all week. Allyssa and David were both in the nursery that they had for helpers. She did watch the video from Lava Lava (Group 2004, I think). From what she tells me, it is really great and she learned from it, "I hide God's promises in my heart." She later told me that she also hides her promises in her heart. Too silly! We take 4 year olds and older, so next year Allyssa will go for real. :) I'm glad that Ellie had so much fun!
